Opening of "Feedback Institute" by 3 teachers with extensive experience in teaching foreign languages and preparing students for international exams.

2008

Obtained definitive authorisation to operate from the Ministry of Education
Invitation from Cambridge University to become one of the authorised Cambridge Exam preparation centres.

2020

Transition to online mode to allow students to continue taking classes during lockdown.
Creation of the #learnONline product

2021

The school in Aveiro reopens to the public.
Offering two differentiated products: #learnONline online classes for adults and #learnINclass face-to-face classes for children and teenagers.
Celebration of nationwide partnerships with companies and public institutions to cover the growing number of online students.

Fátima Borges has been an English/German teacher and translator since 1998 and has managed Feedback Institute since it was founded in 2004. She loves working side by side with her students and witnessing their progress and achievements. Her family is her cornerstone. She is passionate about the German and English languages and can't resist sunsets and rainbows.

Ondina Amaral has been an English teacher since 2000 and managing partner of the Feedback Institute since 2004. She has always dreamed of becoming a teacher and loves seeing her students familiarise themselves with the language and feel confident enough to use it on a day-to-day basis. She is passionate about many things! Namely Scotland, cats and crafts.

With a degree in social sciences and humanities, Simone has experience in the field of customer service. She considers good interpersonal relationships, organisation and responsibility to be essential requirements for her work. She is empathetic, persistent and positive. She enjoys hiking, travelling and getting to know other cultures.

Joana lived in the UK for about 7 years, where she fell in love with the English language and decided to take a Tefl course and become an English teacher. After also living and teaching in China, she was lucky enough to join the wonderful Feedback family. For her, it's important that English is taught in a fun and interactive way, because learning shouldn't be boring. In her spare time she loves travelling, drinking coffee and watching the sunset!

Carine Notarnicola was born in Luxembourg and is fluent in all three of the country's official languages! She came to Portugal in 2000 to study English/German and has been working as a teacher, trainer and tutor since 2005. At the moment, she's learning Italian for fun. She is passionate about cats, crystals and handicrafts.

Manuela Simões, Aka Mané has been a Portuguese and English teacher since 2000 - she took a 5-year graduation course at the University of Aveiro, won a scholarship and studied in Northampton and later took a summer course in Bath. She has also been a Special Needs teacher since 2011. Mané LOVES teaching and meeting new people.

Filipa Sousa lived in London for 10 years where she studied and acquired professional experience in the teaching field. She is enthusiastic and passionate about the English language and focuses on the skills that students need to improve. She is happy to share this educational journey with Feedback Institute.

Sara is Swiss-Portuguese and she grew up in Switzerland. She has been teaching French for 10 years now and she has lived in Porto for 6 years. She works as news editor for Canada, more precisely Québec, the French market, and is passionate about the French language and its complexity, that she loves sharing with others

Daniella Caldwell studied education and pedagogy. She has been teaching languages since 2008. Daniella loves creating a connection with her students that helps them feel confident communicating in English or Spanish. She is passionate about teaching and learning from her students. Daniella believes that it is important to develop language skills in a happy and dynamic environment, so she is happy to be part of the Feedback Institute family.
